Nanda Devi Sanctuary
Nanda Devi Sanctuary is located in the Chamoli district of Uttranchal. This sanctuary came into existence in the year 1939. As there is no regular path to this sanctuary, you need to trek 15 kms from Joshimath by road to Lata, and then 51 km. to the sanctuary. You can find Snow Himalayan Bear, Leaopards, Must-Deer and Pheasant here. The best time to visit the place is from April to May.

Corbett National Park
